Formula 1 & MotoGP set for double headers at Red Bull Ring again in 2021

The world of motorsport will have all its eyes on Austria again. After the Red Bull Ring paved the way for global sport events to return last year with a historic start to the Formula 1 season featuring two races on consecutive weekends, plus back-to-back MotoGP races too, Spielberg will again in 2021 host four Grand Prix weekends in the two elite motor racing series!

Four Grands Prix at the Red Bull Ring

The feast of racing will be started by Formula 1 on 27 June with the “Formula 1 BWT Großer Preis der Steiermark”. The “Formula 1 BWT Großer Preis von Österreich” will be held as planned on 4 July. In August, two MotoGP races follow – the Michelin® Grand Prix of Styria on 8 August and the Bitci Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich” on 15 August.

The big difference to 2020 will be that all four races at Spielberg will take place with spectators! The preparations for ticket sales are ongoing. Fans can find information on that shortly on

Comeback of the motorsport festival for fans

In these challenging times, the Red Bull Ring is supporting Formula 1 and MotoGP again in 2021 to make up for cancellations in their race calendars. This underlines the great co-operation between the circuit and the Formula 1 Group, FIA, as well as with Dorna and FIM. The race weekends will also mark the comeback of the motorsport festival for fans. The safe return of spectators to the circuit and the atmosphere they offer should provide another positive statement to the world from Austria.

Tickets for the 2021 Styrian Grands Prix

Ticket sales for the newly announced Styrian Grands Prix in both Formula 1 (25 to 27 June) and MotoGP (6 to 8 August) are being prepared and will start soon. All the information will follow here.

Ticket sales for the “Formula 1 BWT Großer Preis von Österreich” (2 to 4 July) and Bitci Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich” (13 to 15 August) have already been running for several months.
