With a lap time of 1:24.193 minutes, Pol Espargaró led the way at the start of the first MotoGP race weekend of 2020 at the Red Bull Ring – as the Spaniard posted the best time in the first practice session! Just 44 thousandths of a second behind was last year’s winner, Andrea Dovizioso (ITA/Ducati). Australia’s Jack Miller (Ducati) got to grips the best with the difficult – and in parts wet - conditions in the day’s second MotoGP practice session.
Before the serious business began on Friday with the first practice sessions, the KTM rider duo of Brad Binder and Pol Espargaró had a spectacular battle with plenty of elbow grease needed at the Red Bull Ring. The South African and the Spaniard raced around the 4.318 kilometre circuit on two KTM electric mini bikes to perform a special kind of track inspection for KTM.
The fans aren’t missing a single second of the action on the racing circuit – with ServusTV also showing all the practice sessions, qualifying and races of the motorcycle world championship live on Saturday and Sunday! Detailed information on the broadcast schedule, highlights, the best images and analysis can be found on www.servustv.com/motogp.
