The Cashless Payment System at the MotoGP weekend

Endlessly counting small change while queuing and wallets bulging with coins are now a thing of the past. In the framework of the "NeroGiardini Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich", all spectators in Spielberg will be able to pay without cash and thus, entirely stress-free.

The Cashless card cuts waiting times and allows for safe cashless payments. Thus, purchases at Spielberg are done within seconds, guaranteeing that fans won’t miss any of the action involving Valentino Rossi, Marc Márquez, Bradley Smith and their fellow racers! At the same time, the system increases security while making the payment process more transparent.

Visitors can obtain the Cashless card at numerous top-up stations in the direct vicinity of the catering kiosks (see Food & beverages site map) against a security deposit of 3 €. The security deposit will be refunded when the Cashless card is returned. At said stations, the card can be topped up at any time and as many times as you wish using cash, debit and credit cards.

All receipts can be viewed at a glance and in a well-structured way online as well as via the Projekt Spielberg App. Simply log in using the UID number on the back of the card and stay on top of things. Of course, the employees at all top-up and issuing stations will be glad to inform you about your current balance.
