Public Pitlane Walk
Holding a weekend pass, you are granted access to the Public Pitlane Walk on Thursday, 09 August 2018 (4.30 to 6.30 pm) This will give you the opportunity to watch the teams make the final preparations for the following race weekend. Don’t miss this unique chance to witness MotoGP up close!
- The Public Pitlane Walk starts at the start-finish grandstand (sectors A to J), and leads to the Spielberg MotoGP Bike City via the pitlane.
- You will be invited to visit the pitlane from the start-finish grandstand by sectors starting at 4.40 pm. Admission to the grandstand starts at 1 pm and we would like to ask you to be there on time. Please follow the announcer’s regular helpful instructions on the exact procedure.
- Lastest admission to pit lane is at 6.00 pm.
- Access to the waiting area on the start-finish grandstand will be closed once the maximum capacity for the Pit Walk has been reached. In both cases, the first come, first serve principle applies.
- To prevent unnecessary jostling during possible waiting times, you can remain sitting comfortably in your seat and enjoy an unrestricted view of the pit lane from the start-finish grandstand.
- Food and beverages are available both on the start-finish grandstand and the Spielberg MotoGP Bike City.
- No food and beverages except water are allowed in the pit lane itself.
- Due to the proximity of highly flammable liquids and fuels, smoking is strictly prohibited in the pit lane.
