Fondue at the Hotel Hofwirt

You thought it was impossible to chat, cook and eat at the same time? You’d be wrong. It works perfectly well, when all participants join around a fondue pot. Located opposite Seckau Abbey, Hotel Hofwirt revisits traditional types of gastronomical pleasure and you are warmly invited.

The healthier, fat-free way of cooking fondue called Chinoise has long ago replaced the traditional type. Instead of frying three types of meat (juicy beef, lean pork and chicken) in sizzling fat, they simmer in a hearty broth together with fresh vegetables. The chef and his team furthermore prepare delicious sauces and hand-cut XL-fries for you. On the side, they serve pickles, salad and fresh baguettes.

Fondue is delicious but those who know its pleasures also know: It’s also pleasing to the eye and when chatting with others, one often eats a little bit too much. That’s why you will receive a shot of digestive Schnapps afterwards.

The Fondue is 24.90 Euros per person and is served to a minimum of 2 guests.
