Thousands of spectators will flock to Spielberg in order not to miss out on the motor sports extravaganza of the year. An exciting and unforgettable weekend filled with action, emotion and highlights awaits visitors. In order to make their arrival as comfortable as possible, there are a number of options to reach Spielberg - also without using a car.
All Roads lead to
Use the S36 Murtal Schnellstraße motorway and take either exit Knittelfeld West, Zeltweg Ost or Zeltweg West to get to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Please follow the local traffic control system on the S36 and along the country roads. Should the traffic conditions make it impossible for you to take the above mentioned exits, please follow the instructions given to you by the executive forces. Depending on your ticket colour, you will be directed to the nearest parking area. Please memorise the number of your parking area indicated at the entrance to the respective area.
The early bird catches the worm: Please note that you should expect extensive traffic volumes at the time of your arrival. We therefore recommend trying to arrive as early as possible.
The more the merrier! Whereas Daniel Ricciardo & Co. are always alone in their cockpits when they blast around the Red Bull Rin, we recommend filling every seat in your car. this will reduce traffic congestion and allow everybody to get to the event faster.
Traffic reports on Hitradio Ö3 radio station provide regular updates on the current traffic situation. The Austrian motor-way operator ASFINAG‘s free app, too, offers comprehensive information regarding traffic jams, accidents, roadworks, closed roads and rest areas.
Take your bike - walk less and leave traffic jams behind!
You can get to the two park & bike parking areas in Weißkirchen and at the G‘Schlössl Murtal in Großlobming via Judenburg and St. Lorenzen. Park your car and use your bike the rest of the way. Follow the signposted bicycle paths to ride straight to the event site in comfort. Bicycle parking is available close to the track. Please note that we do not assume any liability for these spaces.
