A Spielberg F1 Ticket is a lot more than just an entrance card

On the first weekend in July 2016 – 1 to 3 July – the elite of motorsport will be visiting the Red Bull Ring in Austria for the third time. Tickets for the Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich 2016 guarantee fans, in addition to first-class motorsport action on the track, top entertainment off it and a comprehensive side programme around the Red Bull Ring. The Austrian Grand Prix is going to turn into a motorsport festival for the whole family again with the Legends Parade, open-air concerts, autograph sessions with the stars and Public Pit Lane Walk. Projekt Spielberg is also offering even more new and attractive ticket categories in 2016.

New tickets make Formula 1 affordable for families again

The Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich is set to provide, along with its top-class motor racing action, an experience that the entire family can enjoy. Away from the race track there are going to be four days of top entertainment. In keeping with its motto as a ‘motorsport festival for the whole family’, parents can take their children to enjoy the Austrian F1 weekend at no great cost. Those who get a family ticket can take one child up to age 14 to the circuit for free during the period of validity. With this new ticket, and the new Family Area, where little Formula 1 fans can let off steam, the Austrian Grand Prix is becoming even more family friendly! To make for a pleasant journey there are also plenty of free car parks available.

Delve into the history of the elite racing series with the Formula 1 legends

The Legends Parade at the Red Bull Ring is definitely a fan highlight of the Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich. There is a reunion with Austrian and international motorsport idols every year at the racing circuit. Driving in the original cars in which they recorded their great successes, the stars – which have included the likes of Niki Lauda, Gerhard Berger, Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet and Jean Alesi in recent years – evoke memories of unique moments in Formula 1’s history while ensuring that the sound of long-forgotten days resounds around the circuit again.

Top international bands rock at the open-air concerts

The title of a ‘motorsport festival’ has been well earned at the open-air concerts. The party doesn’t stop when the race action is over, after all. Things really take off at the open-air concert ground by the gates of the Red Bull Ring as top rockers and local bands well and truly keep the motorsport fans going wild. AWOLNATION, Mando Diao, Sunrise Avenue, Sportfreunde Stiller, The BossHoss and Andreas Gabalier have already taken to the stage since F1 returned to Austria – and more big names are to follow in 2016.

One ticket for two motorsport fans

Projekt Spielberg is offering fans a unique offer tailor made for the Formula 1. As part of the Bring Your Friend offer – all holders of a weekend ticket can take an extra person to the top motor racing in Austria on Thursday and Friday. Two motorsport-loving friends can therefore experience the Public Pit Lane Walk together or the entire Friday programme at the Red Bull Ring, along with the open-air concerts in the evening.

All the aces in your hand with a weekend ticket

Formula 1 fans can’t go wrong with a weekend ticket for the Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich 2016. They will get to experience all the highlights up close – from the Public Pit Lane Walk on Thursday to the practice on Friday and qualifying on Saturday, right up to the 2016 F1 race winner in Spielberg taking to the top of the podium on Sunday. All the side events, and entrance to the open-air concerts are included in the price, of course. There are Sunday tickets available too, in addition to the weekend tickets. Those who want to see the magic of F1 can take their pick from the Red Bull Stand, South West Stand right on the starting curve, Central Stand, the covered North Stand, or perhaps an exclusive spot in the Start-Finish Stand with a view of the pit lane?

Formula 1 live, up close and from different perspectives

In 2016, there is a new ticket category making the experience of being able to watch Formula 1 live and in person more attractive to motorsport fans than ever before: the 3 Corner Ticket – Stand Hopping can’t be beaten, as it gives spectators the chance to watch the elite racing series from three different stands, with all their different perspectives. Stand Hopping is what it’s called. Holders of a 3 Corner Gold Ticket can watch the F1 practice on Friday at the Red Bull Ring from the North Stand, experience the qualifying on Saturday from the Red Bull Stand in the west of the circuit, and cheer on their favourites on the race day, Sunday, from the Start-Finish Stand.

2016 tickets are worth event more – from F1 to MotoGP

In 2016, world championship points will be up for grabs at the Red Bull Ring in MotoGP for the first time. Fans who get their ticket for the 2016 Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich from 7 September and by 8 November 2015 on www.projekt-spielberg.com/f1tickets are also first in line for the premier class of motorcycle racing when it comes to the coveted tickets – with a two-week priority sales period for MotoGP tickets in Spielberg just for them!

What a Formula 1 ticket guarantees for Spielberg in 2016: Priority sales option for MotoGP – Bring Your Friend offer – Family Area – Open-Air Concerts – Legends Parade – Audio description for partially blind people – Public Pit Lane Walk – F1 Village – Attractive side programme – Autograph sessions with the stars – Free car & bike parks – Side events on & off track, for instance air show, Freestyle MotoX Shows, show runs, etc.
