Austria’s Most Fantastic Playground is being electrified! The Krone E-Mobility Play Days on 29 and 30 September, 2017 at the Red Bull Ring are all about the future of mobility. Exhibitions, contests and presentations provide visitors with deep insights into the world of e-mobility as well as the chance to test and experience the latest innovations and developments in this area during what is the largest event of its kind.
To what extent is emission-free mobility already a part of your everyday life? How far has the science advanced? Where are we heading? During the event, answers to these questions will be provided by renowned partners such as ABB, Antenne Steiermark, Austrian Mobile Power, BMW, Bosch, bridge personal, Energie Steiermark, Hyundai, Kart Race Schladming, Kreisel, Kronen Zeitung, KTM, Land Steiermark, Media Markt, Nissan, Ökosolar, Post AG, Red Bull, Renault, Segway, Smatrics, tim, the Technical University of Graz, Uniqa, Virtual Vehicle, voestalpine, Volkswagen, Wirecard and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce as well as the think tank Fifteen Seconds’ lecturers, who will give interesting speeches on the Keynote Stage.
Apart from comprehensive and highly interesting information on the future of e-mobility provided by the industry’s leading companies, the opportunity to get active yourself – above all – will allow for exciting experiences. Visitors can – and are invited to – not only gaze at the innovations exhibited at the Red Bull Ring but to experience them! Together with celebrities from the world of sports, politics and the economy, the Krone E-Mobility Play Days’ motto is therefore: Get close & participate!
E-bikes (KTM Freeride E), Segways and e-vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Renault, BMW, Nissan, Hyundai and Volkswagen can be tested at and around the Red Bull Ring. Virtual Vehicle shows how autonomous driving works. Smatrics, the leading manufacturer of charging infrastructure, battery manufacturer Kreisel and ABB, a company specialising in quick charging infrastructure will show how energy is provided, while Energie Steiermark makes sure power is produced in the most environmentally friendly way possible. As a leading retailer of e-entertainment products, Media Markt will be present with a shop. Uniqa will present tailored e-mobility insurance, while Post AG – as Austria’s largest e-fleet operator – will show its pool of vehicles. The innovative mobility model tim will inform interested persons on centralised mobility in the city of Graz. Wirecard will show how cashless payment processing works and e-clubs will present their cars in the form of parades.
When dealing with the future topic of e-mobility, one naturally needs to take research into the equation. In close collaboration with scientists, the Technical University of Graz, for instance, will present rescue drones and e-supersports cars and thus will surely make lots of jaws drop in awe.
The possibilities are simply endless. Visitors are, for instance, treated to an e-robot football match in which an Austrian team will challenge the squadron of HTWK Leipzig, currently the third-best in the world. The fastest athletes of the e-drone racing scene will furthermore provide lots of action. The personnel service provider Bridge for e-jobs, on the other hand, will stage an e-forklift competition.
Formula E World Champion Sébastien Buemi will also visit the Red Bull Ring. During the Krone E-Mobility Play Days the ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport Team will perform an impressive show run and thus simultaneously bring the premier class of e-motorsports to Austria for the first time.
