Austrian drivers stir up the ‘League of Super Sports Cars‘

Austrian fans have plenty of reason to cheer when the ADAC GT Masters series stops at the Red Bull Ring from 8 to 10 June. Lining up at the start line will be many international race drivers but also an impressive squad of domestic heroes. So far, Austria’s drivers have already put the heat on their competition in this season. An example is 18-year-old Max Hofer who – with his partner Phillip Ellis and behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS – has won his very first race in mid-April. There is a good chance, then, to hear the Austrian national anthem at the end of their home race!

Pure racing at the Red Bull Ring

Besides the GT Masters, the ADAC Formula 4, the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany and the Renault Clio Cup will also be run on this weekend. Apart from super sports cars from Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes, Lamborghini and Porsche, the spectators will be treated to the tyre-shredding power of two Corvette C7 GT3-Rs and a Honda NSX GT3. Two days of limitless racing action are thus guaranteed! Apart from these dream cars and thrilling neck-and-neck action on the race track, motorsports fans will get their money’s worth in the open paddock and during the pit walks.

Racing action on Father’s Day

This year, the ADAC GT Masters weekend coincides with Father’s Day. Tickets with free seat choice on all open grandstands for the season opener in Spielberg are now available in the Ticket Shop. What dad would not be thrilled to gain up-close insights into professional motorsports?
