The wait is over – F1 comes to Spielberg! The highlights from Wednesday to Sunday, brief and compact:


Schlossberg meets Spielberg
Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen meet fans in Graz! It goes without saying that – in the context of their home race – the Red Bull Racing drivers will personally greet the Austrian fans.

Following a trip on the Grand Prix tramway, the will sign autographs and take selfies with fans on the main square of the city on the Mur River starting at about 4 pm. A true “hands-on motorsports festival”! F1 legend Mika Häkkinen will also make an appearance.


The F1 Fanzone opens its gates
Vehicle exhibitions, merchandise shops offering the latest team collections, racing simulators and motorsports challenges such as the F1 Pitstop, F1 Fitness, F1 News and F1 Reaction Challenges. For four days, this and much more awaits fans at the F1 Fanzone.

Public Pit Lane Walk
Holders of a weekend pass have the chance to watch the teams make the final preparations and experience F1 up and close. The Public Pit Lane Walk starts at the start-finish grandstand and leads to the F1 Fanzone via the pit lane. The grandstand opens at 1 pm, visitors will be called to visit pit lane by sectors starting at 3:40 pm. Further information.

4:00 pm: Autograph sessions at the Fanzone
Get your personal memento of your time at the Red Bull Ring! All teams (except for Red Bull Racing) will be there and sign autographs!


Bring your friend
One ticket for two friends: On Friday, all holders of a weekend pass are allowed to take along an additional person to the category of the valid ticket (free choice of seating) free of charge. That’s true friendship!

11:00 am and 3:00 pm: Free practice
On their home track, the Red Bull drivers are determined to fight for the win! In the overall standings Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are currently 3rd and 6th respectively. It remains to be seen if their plan will work or whether Sebastian Vettel or Lewis Hamilton will get the upper hand.


08:00 am: Styrian Green Carpet
Team bosses and drivers will exit some 100 metres in front of the Red Bull Ring’s Welcome Center, walk across the green carpet to the paddock, greet the spectators and sign autographs – don’t miss this opportunity!

3:00 pm: Qualifying
Things are starting to get serious! The qualifying 2017 ended with Valtteri Bottas on pole with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen behind. If you want to know who’s starting from the top of the grid this time, you should come and see for yourself!

6:40 pm: Legends Parade (final rehearsal)
On Sunday, the Legends Parade will – for the 5th time – bring back memories of historical motorsports. The final rehearsal will take place on Saturday.

7:00 pm: Ö3 Concerts
The party continues long after the engines have been cut out! Domestic musicians and international stars will provide a superb open-air show – this year with Sunrise Avenue, Pizzera & Jaus as well as Gert Steinbäcker. To the programme

Schloßberg Ball in Graz
Guests from the worlds of sports, business, politics and the media will meet at Graz’s highest point to celebrate the season’s most important four-wheeled motorsports event. This unforgettable ball will provide the perfect warm-up for Sunday’s race. Tickets


8:00 am:  Styrian Green Carpet
And in case you miss your chance to meet the team bosses and drivers up close on Saturday or if you simply can’t get enough: The F1 stars will once again cross the green carpet, walk to the paddock, greet the spectators and sign autographs on Sunday.

11:15 am: Red Bull Racing autograph session
Waiting for the race is to motorsports enthusiasts what waiting for Santa Clause is to children! At the Red Bull Ring, spectators can collect unforgettable memories all the way to race start at 3:10 pm – for instance during the autograph session with Dani Ricciardo and Max Verstappen at the Fanzone. You can’t get any closer to the action.

1:00 pm: Legends Parade
Following the motto “A simply great time”, this time around the Legends Parade will commemorate the era of the Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft (DRM) which ran from 1972 to 1985. The drivers in this year’s Legends Parade include Niki Lauda, Gerhard Berger, Dieter Quester and Joachim “Striezel” Stuck as well as domestic skiing legend Franz Klammer in his Alfa Romeo Group 5 race car.

3:10 pm: The race
This is what the fans have been waiting for: The “eyetime Großer Preis von Österreich 2018” begins!
